A Desired Outcome

I recently spent some time walking through Galatians, Ephesians, Philippians, and Colosians. While taking a more in depth approach to studying these four books in the New Testamant I have come to realize that living a Christ-Centered life is something we must desire.

A lot of us have sins that we hide from others, things we keep out of the light because we know they are bad. In order to conquer that darkness in our lives we have to truly understand and accept that our lives are better without that temptation, addiction, and negativity keeping a hold on us. God gives us the strength to overcome when we come to him with a pure heart and pure intentions to change our life for the better.

LIGHT DESTROYS DARKNESS. One of the fastest ways to destroy darkness is to find a source of light in your life and from my experience that source of light tends to be those closest to us. By exposing sin to others you provide the light that is needed to destroy the dark areas in your life. Accountability has truly helped me in my walk more than I could ever put into words. Make a friend, be a friend, and bring a friend to Christ.

Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance. Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything. (James 1:2-4 NIV)
